Barbells for Boobs will happen at CrossFit Modig on Saturday October 20th starting at 8:00am. We have room for 12 Modig peeps in each round. Remember that there is a $20 donation minumum to be made on Modig’s Team Page in order to partipate. This is a great cause and a lot of fun! Sign up now as time slots are filling up fast. CrossFit Modig Members,

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and also the time of year when CrossFit boxes across the country participate in a fundraiser called “Barbells for Boobs.” BARBELLS FOR BOOBS ® is a 501(c)3 non-profit breast cancer organization whose mission is to provide funding through the MAMMOGRAMS IN ACTION GRANT PROGRAM for qualified low-income and uninsured women and men who need screening and/or diagnostic procedures in the prevention of breast cancer.

We will be hosting a “Barbells for Boobs” event on Saturday October 20th starting at 8am. This is a chance to raise money for a great cause, as well as get a fantastic workout. We have chosen to do “Amazing Grace” – 30 Clean and Jerks for time. ZenPlanner will be updated to reflect a special event, so register early for your preferred time. We will run the workouts in 20 minute increments and will have 12 people in each round.

The minimum donation amount to participate is $20. To raise money on behalf of CrossFit Modig, please follow the following directions:

– Go to www.barbellsforboobs.com

– Select “Register Here” and then “Participate – Join a fundraising event today”

-Select the radio button titled “Join an affiliate fundraising team” and select “Next”

-No user name or password is required just select “Next”

-Choose CrossFit Modig on the Team drop-down list and continue filling in your personal info on the following pages.

Last year we raised over $600 and this year we want to raise more than a $1000!
