David Goodenberger, founder and head coach of CrossFit Modig, has been an athlete and fitness enthusiast nearly his whole life. David began personal training in 2006 and switched to full-fledged CrossFit shortly thereafter. As a former collegiate athlete, David has always been passionate about training and nutrition. When he came across CrossFit in 2008, he was hooked. Since then David has had the opportunity to combine what he loves to do with what he gets paid to do. Our Culture

A new workout experience can feel intimidating to even the most seasoned athlete.

We are committed to providing an environment in which each person gets dedicated support in accomplishing his or her fitness goals. You can count on accomplishing something you have never done before with CrossFit. It might be performing an Olympic lift for the first time, front squatting more than your body weight or completing a handstand push up. Perhaps it’ll be recognizing how strong you truly are with simple modifications to form. It is accomplishments like this that ripple across our box on a weekly, often daily, basis. It is what makes CrossFit so exciting! The constant variety of CrossFit is what keeps people coming back, let alone the fact you are getting fitter and healthier. We celebrate these successes and enjoy watching the look of excitement on the faces of our members when it happens. And there will always be something new to achieve or master.
